Claribeth Gutierrez is a rising senior at Baruch College studying marketing management. This summer she is joining CCRC as a communications assistant intern through the CUNY Career Launch Program. As an intern, she will research and write blogs about higher education topics such as transitioning into college and transferring schools. Through this opportunity, Gutierrez hopes to further develop her communication and writing skills in a professional environment. As a first generation student, she understands the difficulties students face as they navigate higher education which is why she is looking to find new ways to make student support resources more accessible. Gutierrez is passionate about using her own experiences to help other students pursue their education goals.
